Arabia Moomin Mug Gift of Love is a 0.3-litre Moomin mug produced in 2026. Exceptionally, no traditional winter seasonal mug was released in 2026. Instead, the Gift of Love mug and the collection built around it replaced that year’s winter collection. This marks the first break in the long-running annual series of winter seasonal mugs. In addition to the mug, the Gift of Love collection includes a bowl, plate, mini mug and spoon, as well as a wide range of other tableware, textiles and home products. The mug was designed in Finland and manufactured in Thailand, as stated on the label, and has the newer by Arabia base stamp.

The Gift of Love collection has some of the same warm festive atmosphere as the Festive Moments Moomin mug released the previous year. Deep green, mustard and beige tones are enlivened by red, making the collection suitable not only for the winter season but also for other celebrations throughout the year. Created to celebrate the 2026 Love anniversary, the Gift of Love collection is considerably more extensive than a typical seasonal collection.

Moomin Mug Gift of Love draws its illustrations primarily from Tove Jansson’s comic Moomin and the Golden Tail. In the story, a magnificent golden tuft grows at the end of Moomin’s tail, instantly making him the centre of attention in Moominvalley. His newfound fame leads Moomin to elegant parties filled with dancing, refreshments and cheerful festivities.

The collection also combines elements from the comics Moomin’s Winter Follies and Moomin Begins a New Life. Together, these different stories create the warm and festive atmosphere of the Gift of Love collection, highlighting togetherness, hospitality and the joy of shared moments.
